The only downside to these lamps is that the base is very long and thin. The overall length of the lamp is the same and the output of 920 lumens is the same as the previous Philips PAR30L lamps I have used in our kitchen, but the lamp neck is thinner and the lamp head is not as solid/beautiful in shape . . The light is also brighter white. Pears arrived quickly and well packaged. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.
