Partially satisfied.

The threaded base of one of the lamps was misaligned and would not screw into the socket. I shouldn't go back for a replacement. Others on the show were fine. Chinese production does not have good quality control.

Pricey but the light quality is worth it.

I buy these lanterns because of the quality of the light they give off. It's natural and pleasant and way better than anything I've tried in my kitchen. They are expensive and short-lived; but i am hooked and keep coming back for more.

Good light, bad life

Although these lamps are better than other "nameless" lamps, I swear the engineers who design these lamps have to laugh at themselves when they create a product that wears out so quickly. Of course, it's all about the MONEY! The old halogen bulbs lasted two years, now their lifespan has been reduced to three months!

Cheap, defective light bulbs.

However I feel terrible when I write a negative review. A little over a year ago I bought 8 boxes of these bulbs. Total bulbs = 48. Last year I opened 22 of these bulbs. Out of the 22 lightbulbs, 11 were broken (didn't work at all). I'm so incredibly happy about it. The lamps actually look different than the ones I bought at Home Depot. This, combined with the fact that 50% of the bulbs used (so far) don't work at all, is the reason for my rating. I am not suggesting that anyone should not buyโ€ฆ

Two of the six are broken, repackaged and not original

Two of the six bulbs in the first box were broken or defective. This is not a new product, it may be a return to Home Depot or Lowe's which we have repackaged. A blown bulb had a broken/dented metal screw but the box showed no damage or signs of impact so it was probably bought, dropped, returned and then repackaged and resold. Dissatisfied.

Fast delivery with halogen lamps

The only downside to these lamps is that the base is very long and thin. The overall length of the lamp is the same and the output of 920 lumens is the same as the previous Philips PAR30L lamps I have used in our kitchen, but the lamp neck is thinner and the lamp head is not as solid/beautiful in shape . . The light is also brighter white. Pears arrived quickly and well packaged. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

the light is not the same as lamps with the same number or Kelvin value

I have been using this type of lamp from Philips for many years, I've lost a few cases I bought a few years ago when the demand for LEDs wasn't that strong. I bought them and installed the following bulbs which still worked. They're very white and not as warm as other 2850K, they're very close to 3000K and maybe even higher, they just don't look very good. Now I'm not sure where to go to replace what I have if that's what's on offer, certainly not happy with the color temperature of the lightโ€ฆ
