As a minimalist, I look for products made from sustainable materials. Bamboo is ideal because it regrows fairly quickly compared to hardwoods like oak, cherry, elm that local carpenters use to make their cheese boards. Highly recommend this cheese board as the hollow area shows the crackers nicely organized and the flat surface is large enough to hold a large round cheese. Cheese knives can easily be placed on either side of the wheel. The care instructions are also easy to understand and everything is easy to clean. Two thumbs up, well done.
