Great product!: Accessories and accessories

It looks neat on the wall, hides my cables and feeds my TV with ease Electricity. The second socket on top is handy for powering a second device (like a soundbar, Chromecast, etc.) and two different options for the second panel (plastic tray or rubber slotted panel) let you choose how you like. for cable management. The included instructions are weak, but I've included the step-by-step instructions below. I hope it helps! Instructions: 1) Plan and measure. Once you start cutting drywall, there is a cost to changing your mind. Therefore, before cutting, check that the placement is correct. If you are doing this at the same time as installing your TV, set up your TV first so you can see where to place the top box for no or minimal visibility. Both boxes need to be between the same studs if you want to do the install without having to climb into the attic to switch sections in the wall and run all those cables (don't do that). Note: The package does not include a pre-cut mural template. Get around this by cutting one out of the box the set came in. Recessed boxes aren't perfectly square, so be sure to mark the top of the template. I made mine by tracing the kit on the box, cutting it out, then cutting out the inside of the template to trace where I needed to cut. Trace the inside of the stencil on the wall with a pencil and you're done. 2) Cut out. This step is self explanatory but I would add that if like me you have insulation in your wall you should try to find a flat drywall cutter. Wires will be easier to pull if you don't cut the paper backing on the insulation. 3) Route the AV and Romex cables through the wall BEFORE installing the kit in the wall. If there is no insulation, it must be a piece of cake. We pass from above, we pull from below. Just don't let go; If you drop wire in drywall, it's easier to buy another than fish it out again. If you have insulation, insert the wire catcher from the top and pull it out from the bottom. Attach the wires to the bottom of the tool and then feed them through. It would be wise to cover the ends of the wires with plastic wrap to keep dust out of the connectors. Make sure you have some game in your Romex to work with. Note: If you have some on hand, unplug the speaker cable you don't need. If you need to run additional cables later, you can simply connect them to the speaker cable and feed them through. I didn't and immediately regretted it. 4) Route the cables through the boxes and use the latches to secure the kit. 5/6) The order doesn't matter, but it's time to end the set. Select and install the accessories you want for your AV cables. I used rubber pads because they can hold more wires. I have 4 Twisted Viper HDMI cables, 1 shielded digital audio cable (fiber), 1 shielded component cable, 2 composite cables, 1 coaxial cable and a Wii sensor bar extender. I don't think he could hold much longer. Feed the wires through the bracket of your choice and attach the bracket to the kit with your choice of screws (top and bottom). Now to the electrics. If you've never connected such an outlet, YouTube can provide the information you need. The switch does not need to be turned off since you are not connected to the electricity. Once the outlet is connected at the top and bolted to the kit, head towards the entrance. I don't know the correct terms, but the piece you use to connect the input cable to the kit is falling apart. Place the outer half of the bracket and the inner portion with the teeth on the input wire, slide the separate bracket that feeds the wire through the kit onto the wire, then slide the inner half of the bracket onto the wire . Connect everything near the end of the white outer part of the input cable, then connect the wires to the Romex. Place the optional Romex back into the wall and attach the pre-wired cable tie to the bottom of the kit. 7) Feed all visible wires through the two group panels and screw the panels to the kit. That's all!

Pros
  • Designed for power and low voltage wiring - perfect for black LCD, LED and plasma TVs
