Reliable product. Fits my Echo Dot Gen 3 perfectly. I wasn't able to fit the cover to my installed Gen 3 Dot, but it looks much better without the cover anyway (nor do you have access to the Dot's buttons with the cover on). ). I installed it in drywall in my finished garage and connected it to a bluetooth speaker system. I like being able to tell Alexa to turn on the music when I'm working out. One downside to my setup is that it sits against a 10-foot ceiling, so when the music is loud, Alexa can't hear me tell her to stop. A lower ceiling probably wouldn't have this problem, and since it's connected to other speakers I can just turn them off with the remote.
