Great value for money: body weight scale

I used to have several fat scales and they were all more expensive than this scale. This scale is as good as any of the more expensive scales I have owned and even better than most. At the moment I see no reason to spend more money on one of the top scales. Using bioimpedance to determine body fat will never be 100% accurate, science simply cannot provide a "correct" number. I had a dexa scan, used formulas for multiple waist sizes, and as mentioned, I had multiple body fat weights. The range was from a low of 12.9% to a high of 20%, with the Dexa Scan giving 15% and the Triomph scale giving 12.9%. Dexa has been called the "gold standard" for measuring body fat, but even that isn't 100% accurate. So I take the absolute number with some skepticism, but follow the dynamics over time. Triumph seems reliable and effective for this purpose. The same for the weight. I don't pay attention to the rest. Overall I find the Triomph scale to be a very economical way to track my weight and body fat percentage to help me manage my health and fitness. It doesn't offer or require an app that I liked. I'm suspicious of all the intrusive tracking that apps do, so all I needed was a scale that would give me reliable numbers on the device. For me, Triumph is 5 stars.
