The color is exactly as pictured which is great. I needed a little heavier boot for vet tech class field trips to farms in winter. I chose the color because I love pink knowing that they will eventually get beat up and dirty. I'm okay with that. I wore them for the first time today. They were comfortable to wear all day and with the "fur" lining, kept my feet warm. They are heavy enough to protect my feet as well although a steel toe may be a little better but I didn't want to shell out steel toe prices. These boots will do fine even without a steel toe. I am a US size 8 in women shoes and ordered a size 8. The fit is perfect.
