I've had this cutter for about two months now. I bought it to protect my wrists from repeated cuts. I cut linen/cotton/jute and so far the cutter has done so well. I can cut through multiple layers at once without straining my wrists (it's a bit heavy, but still a lot less strain). The pros are that it cuts like butter and can slice through multiple layers. The cord is long enough for me to easily maneuver around the cutting mat. Cons: It's fine around corners, but no steep corners to cut by hand. It should also be noted that when cornering you must be careful that the cable does not touch the blade. You also cannot cut directly on a ruler or cutting ruler. I use the intersection rule
