Review on Pure, Safe, And Stylish: Megahome Water Distiller With BPA-Free Plastic Collection by Todd Lowry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

exactly like it should of by the third batch

The water it made tested out at 000, exactly like it should of by the third batch. The water that I put thru it comes from my reverse osmosis unit which tests out at 044, my regular tap water from Lake Michigan tests out at 165, Our lovely govt says that water is drinkable up to 500. By using my reverse osmosis water in this distiller, it practically cuts down if not out, on the cleaning of the unit, the water tastes great, no charcoal filter is needed. The only issue with this unit is that it takes 5 hours to distill one gal of water, I can speed that up if I bring the reverse osmosis water to a boil on the gas stove (15 min) before I put it into the distiller, but it still takes 4 hours total. So does my distiller have an issue or is that just the way it is?

Pros
  • Water Softeners
Cons
  • The machine's plastic components could potentially contain harmful chemicals or additives, despite being BPA-free
