I bought this after reading the high reviews on a grocery site. I was attracted by its resilience and supposed durability. While the surface will cut with sharp and well-kept knives, many cutting boards will do. I liked the ridges on the edges that help hold the juices and prevent items from rolling off. One thing to note is that this board of this size is quite noisy. Your chopping sound will sound every time the knife cuts through your food. SORRY, the board started warping after 2 weeks of use! It has NEVER been exposed to heat and certainly not dishwasher safe. The middle warped outwards so that the rubber stops on the corners no longer touched the table top. Essentially, this renders this board useless and dangerous considering how it turns while cutting. The opposite side has no grooves, so simply turning the board over to stabilize it is a waste of its intended function. I really wanted to like it but such a design flaw after a pathetic 2 weeks is just ridiculous.
