After searching online I chose this book binding kit for two reasons. The amount of wax thread in various colors and the leather finger cots. However, I did not receive the leather finger cots. Instead, I received two thimble finger wraps that I will try to make use of but it did drop review from 5 stars to 4. No directions for using any of the tools nor any type of booklet with types of bookbinding. I understand the description doesn't say it includes any type of instructions but I am fairly new to bookbinding and for example, I looked everywhere online to try and find out what a double hole cone gourd is and what it's used for. The paper folder/creaser is plastic and not bone.
