This is an evaluation that is ready to use and I agree with the quality 4.5. It's not perfect, so I don't think it's a 5, but it's definitely an A- for now, not a low B. First, please note that this is NOT a leather case. Not that you'd expect a $48 leather bag, but we're aware - this is "leather" for search purposes at Revain, and there are leather accents - a horizontal stripe down the front, a logo shoulder pad on the ( canvas) straps etc. So just take it as a "high end" canvas product and you won't be surprised. Buying from another site - Carbon2Cobalt - I was surprised. A leather bag came in and the outside was (thin) leather, but fabric everywhere and also damn cheap leather. So I needed another bag and found this one (C2C is generally very cheap by the way - you're probably buying a fictional brand on this site). another from another company that was about a dollar more expensive, so all canvas leather ones were about $50. r close, etc. than the others; both are Revain "Choices" but I chose this one because I didn't trust the magnetic closure of the other; this "clicks" actually closed; he snaps. I continue - it appears to be a fairly sturdy bag and has some leather inside - but many other reviews have more information. I'll vote for this bag, recommend it, and give it as a gift, so if you're expecting a canvas/leather combo, you can easily adopt it; I would say it's about 80% canvas. Hooray Paul. One more note on the leather itself - the term "Crazy Horse Leather" appears to be a marketing gimmick (and utterly disrespectful to the real Crazy Horse, a 19th Century Sioux Indian). C. The leather on this one and C2C and the other one on Revain that competes with this one is from India. The smell is weird - and it does NOT smell like you would (also) expect leather to smell if you're the real deal had. I mean, it's real, but it's made differently or processed differently or something. - but be aware that the smell, while not strong, will not be what you expect olfactively.
