I'm a developer with multiple desktops behind me in my office. I have two 50 foot VGA cables running along the walls of my office that connect to both of my monitors on my desk. I bought this because I needed a way to attach my headset and webcam to my desktop. Otherwise, if connected directly to my desktops, the webcam would point to the back of my head. I bought a 30 foot ethernet cable and ran it through the ceiling to connect the two devices together. I've been calling Zoom for the past 4 hours with my USB webcam and headset plugged in and the quality is as good as if I had it plugged directly into my desktop. It was the perfect product for my workplace.
