Great value in a serious, budget-friendly, high-performance gaming monitor. The image is sharp and clear, with no noticeable ghosting or blurring when playing fast-paced games. Colors seem accurate for what I'm looking for, although for serious photography I can't say it's that accurate. It has a slight highlight around the edges that is usually not noticeable. The base is decently solid and the monitor doesn't wobble at all unless it's hit. It's best to avoid the built-in speakers, although they can produce a hum that can be eliminated by turning their volume down to zero. My only complaint is that I had a black dead pixel in the top right corner; I let it go because I don't usually notice it. Asus' warranty considers a monitor defective if it has 5 black deads or 3 light deads. If mine was in the middle I would definitely consider returning it to Revane. I usually buy my monitor from a local store, but no store near me has this particular Asus model that has everything I was looking for (although I don't think I'll ever buy another online). Overall I'm 95% happy with it and hope it lasts as long as the Samsung 19 inch standard width LCD it replaced.
