The front of the baskets under the bench in our entryway were so worn I thought of buying a new one. They were still in good condition so I got the idea to repaint them. What do I lose if I want to replace them anyway? I found this little bottle of gel paint and it worked like magic. In the photo, the basket on the right looks like they all looked before dyeing. The basket on the left was dirty. Even when the fibers wear out again, there are still plenty of stains in the bottle and it only took a few minutes to "recover" them with a sponge.
