Auto leveling product to compete with others like BLTouch in the market. This is from Creality themselves, so it should be the most compatible version overall. It uses a metal tip unlike the other options, but I would honestly prefer plastic to protect the printing surface. In the end it's a compromise, the metal lasts longer and is less prone to damage to the device itself. Plastic doesn't last as long and if it hits something it doesn't get damaged like metal would. I think for it to really cause a problem it has to fail. The instructions that come with it are very simple. They could be improved a bit with more steps to connect to the printer board as well as higher quality images that are sharper as some corners are very difficult to see. Loading a form for Ender 5 is easy, but there are so many additional options for Ender 3 that it's a little unclear which one to choose. This could be greatly improved. Aside from the obscure firmware issues I had, which may have been due to the fact that this product is brand new and the website needed some setup, it's very easy to install. You just need to remove the hot end cage and then put this bracket in there and reattach the cage with the screws. Then connect it to the motherboard with the cable provided, update the firmware and adjust the gcode in the slicer to have the G29 command. That's it, and you'll be auto-leveled in no time. You may also need to make small adjustments to the Z probe height. This is covered very well in an online video entitled "Z-Offset Calibration Using the BLTouch Bed Leveling Sensor". After all, this product is essentially bl touch. This is an important step in getting the perfect first coat. When mounting the bracket on the cr touch you have to insert the screws from below, that's the only way they work. This is because the mount itself is threaded. So if you move from above there is nothing for the screws to cut into. Also make sure to use the smaller screw set, 6mm, for this. They include 8mm screws to attach to the printer as they allow for the extra length needed for the mount. It's hard to describe, but on my Ender 5 Pro, the end of the strap with the metal clip was on the Cr Touch. I just had to cut the rubber protruding from the metal end to make it fit. With my Ender 3 Pro, that wasn't a problem at all. Overall it works great for me. You still need to start with a level bed, and this device will fix those little imperfections you've missed and help you get the perfect print. And the last thing you need to do is learn the m420 s1 command to level the bed. This allows you to use the saved mesh instead of checking the mesh each time you print, saving time.
