Sold as a cleaning product that can be used every day. It really is a gentler exfoliant than most you will find. It doesn't have the almost grainy texture that many exfoliating cleansers should have. Another feature of this cleanser is that it is a gel rather than a cream cleanser, which is rare among exfoliating cleansers. That surprised me a little. It has a transparent gel base with blue spheres floating inside. It also has a soapier smell, unlike shaving cream and oil, which have a lemony-citric smell. Overall I've used it and stopped using it a few times. The main reason is that I felt it was dry. I have naturally dry skin and using this product made my face feel tight and I didn't like it. I reverted to the St Ives pharmacy brand which is cheaper, is cream based and should only be used a few times a week. St. Ives also dries out a bit but if I only use it once or twice a week it's not too bad and it lasts a long time. For my daily facial cleansing, I use the Dove for Men Sensitive Facial Cleanser, which I find works much better for gently cleansing my face.
