Takes up less space than other spool holders

Contrary to what some people have said in response to questions, you don't need anything extra to keep the bobbin thread from unwinding. Another reviewer had the great idea of simply threading the free end of the bobbin thread into the spool hole before inserting the spool holder. This will prevent the lower thread from unwinding from the bobbin.
