I bought, tried and compared two of the most popular Blink X2 camera mount and housing kits: Blink XT2 Mount Kit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S917J5C /ref= ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and Frienda kit, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FDBRSCP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Ups and downs. I liked the Blink XT2 best. The Frienda kit has a better camera body, but the XT2 camera mount has a better mount and better look and finish. These are the details. XT2 camera mount The body and most mounts are mostly made of plastic. The design is good plus points. Easy installation, the mounting bracket can be easily adjusted after installation. It has a hole at the bottom so the sound of the speaker can be heard. The scope of delivery includes a very practical synchronization module mount for the cameras, which would otherwise have to be purchased separately. minuses. Upper body element protection is shorter than the Frienda kit, which is not ideal when installing cameras that will be exposed to the elements. The base of the bracket is made of plastic and can break if handled carelessly.Frienda kit.Plus points. The silicone case has a longer upper protection that does a good job of keeping out the sun and rain. It has a back hole for easy USB power cable connection for those who install external power supply for the camera. The base of the mount is metal, so it could be sturdier. minuses. The screw that secures the moving part of the mounting bracket is very difficult to install. If you manage to screw it in, it's almost impossible to move and adjust the camera to adjust direction. If you're not careful when screwing the screw into the ridiculously small space, you can easily tear off the soft metal of the bracket. If you want to hear the Blink X2's camera speaker you will need to cut a hole in the bottom of the camera (looks like this mount was originally made for an earlier Blink camera without a speaker). Both products work. If circus tent protection is important to you, consider the Frienda despite its less than ideal performance. Otherwise, the camera mount of the XT2 would have been better overall.
