The metal and plastic are thick and strong, but the nail puller doesn't pick up half the nails. They're still running away. And to remove the nail puller, I put the wire cutters in the workbench, and then I had to make a roll and lean on it with all my weight to remove the cover. I made sure there were no locking tabs on the sides they have, so I bent them to get them out. The plastic piece just wouldn't come off unless it took over 200 pounds for a man with a complicated pulley system to remove. I've never seen anything like this. I've tried so many things and this was the last one I tried before I was about to give up and throw it away. Also, the plastic nail holder that it catches just falls out of the sides at the end. What's the point if it doesn't work? Dr.: Nails are still ubiquitous and plastic insoles are more of a nuisance than useful. Take a regular set and just trim your nails as you normally would. The plastic isn't worth it. The website also doesn't list this as a product they sell. Some other hair clippers but not this one.
