I ordered this for my diabetic old man who is trying to lower his sugar levels. He's pretty picky so it took a while to convince him to eat this - I eat 2 scoops of this and a can of tuna or a cup of this with a cup of raw. He chooses dry food from time to time, but generally the change in diet has lowered his blood sugar to the point that I only need to give him 10 units of insulin instead of 14 to keep his levels at a good level. While I wish it was a little cheaper, every extra day I spend with him because I can control his sugar is worth every penny.
