I did a custom Sirius XM antenna routing on my Road Glide Ultra (Harley). The standard antenna was not long enough to extend beyond the radome. This was the 1st problem, the 2nd problem was that even if it was long enough taking it off when it was necessary to remove the outer fairing cover for service would not be practical. So I used this item as an extension cable between the Sirius receiver and the standard XM antenna. That worked great. This not only allowed me to move the antenna, but also provided over 3 feet of extension so it could be detached from the antenna to the receiver and the radome removed.
