Review on JBL Flip Bluetooth Connection Black by Joshua Mccall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Big sound, small speaker - fully portable

This small speaker impresses with its size and portability. I'm still heartbroken that someone stole my Bose Portable Audio Dock which sounds so much better. That being said, the Sounddock is a lot heavier, bigger, and harder to carry than this amazing little speaker. I use it to teach yoga and other activities, give lectures, and play videos during presentations and clinical training. Due to its size and portability, this sound really fills a large room with crystal clear clarity and richness, without fluffiness or vibration. Musically the highs and brass are a little over the top for my taste, but come on, it has so many other great qualities that less picky people probably won't even notice. I highly recommend it if you want small and portable speakers and don't want to settle for crappy sound. Note Bluetooth is an easy connection and fairly reliable with both my iPhone 5 (first generation) and MacBook Pro. Once the connection was lost in the middle of a presentation and I couldn't reconnect it to the laptop. Since I'm paranoid, I always have a cable with me and I'm very happy that you can also use it with wire. Works great with mini cable for my old iPod and iPod touch. Bluetooth also seems to work well for hands-free calling, but I don't use it for that purpose.
