These sandals are as good as the branded sandals which are very similar. If you are interested in buying quality shoes at a great price, you can't go wrong with this. My kids wore them all summer and they still wear them! My only complaint is that since my son loves to hold his shoes tight when he pulls the strap as tight as he can, there aren't a lot of velcro tabs that connect. But still, they never parted. Therefore, the strap is a bit long for us, but it definitely doesn't bother us.
