These were purchased with a matching set of turn signals and plugged straight into the turn signal kit. very much plug and play with these units. It took about 30 minutes to make both mirrors. The hardest thing is getting down from the mirror itself. Next, use a Torx T20 screwdriver to unscrew the four screws securing the back of the mirror housing. It's a bit snug so it took a bit of pressure to fully engage but overall it's a great product. My only objection is that maybe a slightly longer cable could have been included as you can't move too much when testing and reinstalling the mirror housing or it will disconnect.
