02/03/17 Updated from 4 to 3 stars: Electrical noises are now more noticeable when the engine is running. Sad face. The cable connected to the 3.5mm jack seems a bit flimsy. In my application on my 2006 Corolla, I am noticing electrical noise while the engine is running. It's noticeable between songs, but you can't really hear it through the music. When connected directly to my mobile phone, the overall volume through the car stereo is sometimes lower than usual, ie not as loud as the normal AM/FM volume. . Disconnecting and reconnecting my cell phone eventually fixes the drop in volume. When connected directly to my Flexmart X3 Bluetooth receiver, the volume through the car stereo is perfect and never changes. The sound quality is excellent apart from a little electrical noise that comes out when the engine is running.
