Tried this on myself when my hair was mid back to waist length and it didn't work. I was able to do the front half of the hair but I'm having trouble with the back. My hair is not thick but I could only do half of my hair before the battery died. Twisting the strands before putting them on the camera helped create defined curls. Pros: Long lasting batteries that lasted from 30 minutes to an hour. When curling, hands do not get tired. Cons: Uneven curls, hair stuck in the chamber, not suitable for long and thick hair. He didn't want to curl up on my head. He untwisted the top section of his hair but still curled the bottom section. If you're looking for a faster curling iron, don't look if you're a beginner or have long thick hair.
