Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Genuine Nissan Parts - Factory Authentic Catalog Part (26510-ZP50A) - Ultimate Quality and Reliability! by Jeff Bundrick

Revainrating 4 out of 5

That's a lot - it doesn't take much effort to make one part.

Ok - having read the reviews and ordered this anyway after looking at the part number on the Nissan website I will clarify some of the other comments. First, THIS IS THE CORRECT PART NUMBER for the 2007 Nissan Frontier. I have an SE Edition truck with a large cab. I even went to a Nissan dealer with parts and confirmed that the part I received was indeed correct. I thought the cap looked smaller than the factory cap that was on the truck and I'm right about that. Apparently Nissan has changed something and this is a new replacement for the plastic license plate light cover. YES - it's smaller than the factory lamp cover, but it's the correct part. Nissan can get you a large plastic cap for a fabulous $57 each, and most dealers have to special order it since most people don't want to pay that much for a plastic bulb cap. a hole in the bumper, but you have another "hole" if you want where the other factory cover fits. It's just not worth paying $100 for a plastic license plate lamp cover to me, so I live with a "hole" in the bumper and have a smaller lamp cover that is uniquely made for the car model. The price of this part couldn't be lower, and you even get a replacement bulb for $5 for a 2-pack at your local parts store. I can't speak for other Nissan models as I have a Frontier but it works fine. The Nissan dealer said they might correct the part number in the future as the dealer I went to was familiar with this issue, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon.
