We ordered this supplement for our 10 week old Boxer puppy. It grew out of the original 4 panel grip in two weeks. That gives him plenty of room to play and gives us some sanity. He found he could jump 24" records in the first week and we worried that this meant he could no longer be used, but he hasn't even tried since. He loves his little playpen and even sleeps in it. He enters voluntarily. We have started cage training him at night and when we leave the house, but he still prefers to be in the enclosure. As he is still biting at 14 weeks this gives us and our adult dog a much needed break. Our coach thought it was a great idea. One side is against the wall and the other side of the extension is a little weak. He does not stand rigid when standing on his side. Here he learned that it is enough to give to jump over it. We simply attach a small side table to the joint to hold it securely. We are planning a trip and thanks to the easy assembly and disassembly, this one will come. This protects the house we live in from damage caused by the puppy. We use brown washable puppy mats to protect the floors and they're a little larger so they can be pinned under the boards, but he's busy fixing them so they don't always stay in place. To be honest I don't know how we would have gotten this far without this pen!
