I ordered this screen due to the low price. My previous screen is ripping apart near the opening. So it is time to replace. I realize that the 3 sides (top and sides) of the new screen are using velcro. My previous one is using a hanging rod at the top and a few small pieces of velcro at the sides. I cannibalize my old hanging rod since it offers durability. I figure that using the velcro tape to hang the screen would not last too long. But the continuous velcro tape on the sides offer better sealing than my old one. Also, the new screen has more magnets at the split to help the screen to seal up better than my old one which only had couple of magnets. My old screen had heavier weight at the bottom than the new one, which is not too big of a deal. Overall, I am happy with the new screen so far.
