Review on ASICS Gt 1000 Running Lightning 4E: Enhanced Performance for Wide Feet by Adam Rogers

I am embarrassed to give these 2 stars because these are really good shoes that I am sure someone will like. But they are too narrow. I have flat feet ("flint foot”) and need very wide shoes. I ordered 4E (very wide) and it wasn't enough. Even 2E (wide) is usually enough for me on some brands (I have a couple of Sketcher 2Es that fit great). So I don't think it's unreasonable to expect 4E to fit properly; If anything, they should have been too wide, but instead they were too narrow. Because I can't adequately measure the comfort and actual experience of wearing a shoe, I rely on the usual things you would rate before trying on a shoe. It flexes at the toes, not in the arch. The mesh on the outside ensures excellent air circulation, which is ideal for people with sweaty feet (e.g. runners). The shoes have a great aesthetic; A lot of ASICS shoes are very flashy, but I love these; they are matte and black, just the way I like them. If you don't have wide feet, they seem like great shoes.
