I paid $50 for this set but if you want to buy them wait until they are $35-40. The day after the purchase, the price fell again. Even with their issues, they'll probably still make a good starter kit. Cons: - The oil from the blades started to corrode the handles leaving blue goo on everything (see photo) - The blades are in the shape of a boomerang (see photo) - The handles were very dirty and the blades were all scratched from the factory - The hammer is made for people with square hands Pros: - Steel seems to be of good quality, although not exactly scratched - The hammer is made of wood so you can grind the edges of the handle if you have a non-square handle, the case is fine (although it hurts to remove the zip ties) - approved by Wranglerstar I wouldn't pay $50 for it again, but $35-40 would be nice.
