Not sure I recommend it πŸ™

First I ordered these beats on February 1st and they never arrived so I had to contact Revain to get a refund. Although they got lost in transit, based on the 5 star reviews I decided to order them again. Manicurists know that replacement tips can be very expensive so I decided to save the expense and buy these. BIG MISTAKE! So good. I love the fact that they are very thin which means you shouldn't have a problem removing most of the acrylic product and smoothing it out after application. ok.no. They are extremely sharp and small - an added risk for even the most experienced nail technician because if you don't remember to season them before use (most tips don't need seasoning) you could seriously injure your client and/or yourself . I've managed to use a few (smoothing down the acrylic and using on the cuticle) but I don't feel confident and have to return the rest. They're just too sharp and maybe too thin; No matter how fast my electric file is, I've found that these bits pull and remove more product than they should, making my clients' improvements uneven and clumpy, and I'm NOT happy with that. However, I will keep the two I used to remove the gel polish and to remove and thin the acrylic before filling, but the others should come back. When I first got them I tried one on my silicone training arm which almost got damaged so I couldn't use them on myself and was skeptical of using them on clients. Even after seasoning, they are dangerous; I'm not comfortable working with them on cuticles or sidewalls. I even washed them in hopes they would age a bit but that's not for me. Tips are usually washed, dried and soaked in acetone after use, but the first time I use them I prefer to wash them thoroughly with warm soapy water, sanitize in a Marvy jar and air dry. I will not use them fresh out of the box if they are colored like this because they will stain acrylic. I won't soak them in acetone until after the first use, this usually takes the bite out of them a bit but they're still too sharp for me. and i will try them. These little ones are too unstable and unusable for me. Too complicated to use and as a nail stylist I try to work smarter not harder.
