Review on Fisher Price Little People Treehouse Playset: Enhancing Children's Playtime by John Maynard

Just bought this for my 2.5 year old granddaughter. I chose not to use batteries in it because I want it to benefit from its imagination rather than pushing buttons to create sounds. Beware of the included cheap batteries! I went beyond pushing and turning the knob and knob to see what the toy was doing with the batteries before taking them out. Warmed up batteries in less than two minutes of gaming. I would throw them away even if the toy had used up batteries. FYI, the knobs and buttons work without batteries, so the dog will go in and out of the house and the swing will rock. My granddaughter loved the toy; especially the dog figure, and pushes the kids on the swing with his hand, maybe more than the button.
