Do you use Britta well water jugs? We did and we don't NOW. My plumber installed this water filtration system yesterday. Was it easy? No, as only with this unit you are limited by having the inlet on the LEFT side. Luckily my plumber saw this OR I would have given him 5 stars instead of 4 for ease of installation. Copper doesn't come cheap, and if you have to grind the copper to install this you'll understand. As for the quality of the water, it is crystal clear and I now drink water from my own well without hesitation. To help you understand my system, I'll give you the order of what I have: 1) water enters and flows into the IRON tank first, then through 2) water softener, then through 3) sump filter, then through 4) express standard water Whole house filter (this item) then 5) My water pressure booster as I didn't want to lose water pressure throughout the house. Problem #1 - You MUST apply plumbing sealant to the o-rings on top of each of the 3 water filter canisters before adding water to your system or they will LEAK. Luckily this was an easy fix, but hopefully you will NOT forget this after reading this review. Water will fill up your pressure gauges, but don't worry, this is normal and will not affect the pressure reading. I haven't had the gauge leaks that others have reported on their systems. My plumber installed pressure gauges before the water filtration system and after my water intensifier so I know how much pressure is coming out of my well and what's coming out of my intensifier into my pipes. This is week #1 - I'll come back and update my review with pictures and again after a few months of use.
