Review on Classic Zipadee Zip Small Months Inches by Erin Brown

Received this after taking my baby out of a traditional diaper but he still has the startle reflex. I wouldn't say Zipadeezip does that much to dampen flinching. My baby still sometimes winces when waking up between sleep cycles. It helps some, but basically your baby just needs to get used to not being swaddled, regardless of the zipper. The best sleep for us was more a result of his adaptation/development of his waking hours than a sleeping bag. But I love that the Zipadeezip is a full sleeping bag that covers the arms. Other sleeping bags I have used have left my child with icy hands in the mornings. The material is thin and dries very quickly. We only have one and if we had a diaper leak the zipadeezip actually dries quickly with a hair dryer. minuses. The material is not very comfortable. I've only washed it a few times following the instructions and it's already rolling. The fabric tab that covers the head of the zipper after you close it is also uncomfortable and flimsy. And sometimes I feel like the zipper is too high for my kid. My BIGGEST complaint is that when my child tries to reach his head with his hands, the extra zipper fabric covers his nose and half his face. To help with this, I tied a knot on two legs. For what you pay I expected a better product. Update: I don't know what's wrong with this sleeping bag, or maybe it's just my baby's shape, but his size didn't help as the zipper covered his face. The extra fabric on the chest constantly covers my child's nose when they raise their arms a little. Then it scares him and he doesn't know how to wipe it off his face and I have to go and help him which causes him to go insane. I do NOT recommend. I don't understand the love for this product when it is shaped like this. The stuff is creepy now. Not worth the money and hassle.
