Works perfectly. Easy to connect, easy to use.

I chose this one because you don't need all that junk on your windshield. All I wanted was a speedometer. More stock looks easier anyway. In the first few months I only ran the speedometer, only recently I switched on the rev line (pictured). I like having this option. I can add more if I want, but generally HUDs look better when they're simpler. If I want to learn more about my car, I use my dashboard or an OBD Bluetooth reader. The instructions were simple and in English. I'm not sure why so many people are having trouble with this step. The image looks a bit washed out, but it actually looks better. It's a bit harder to see on the brightest days around noon, but still visible. This can be made easier by using the supplied darkened foils. After a couple of weeks I put the film on to try it out but ended up taking it off. I prefer the look of my windshield without the square on it, and I didn't need it. Very bright at night. I deducted one star because of the "Auto" brightness setting. I mean, this is the only real option if you don't want to be constantly changing it manually. I think the brightness should be several levels from Auto. At noon, at maximum brightness, I can see it, but it seems to me that in this scenario it should work better. On the other hand, it is brighter at night than it should be. The brightness settings should not be 1, 2, 3 or "Auto". This should be Auto 1, Auto 2, or Auto 3, each of which is brightest during the day (because the sun is never too bright) but dimmer at night. As with any Auto 1, Auto 2 etc. there may be different dimming levels at night. That's the problem I have with most Chinese electronics, not bright enough during the day but too bright at night as if they make up for the night for what they can't do during the day. Overall I recommend this despite my only complaint. My complaint applies to all HUDs. So if you have to choose one, choose this one. You'll have to play around with the settings to calibrate it for your car's speedometer, but it's not difficult, you just have to read the instructions. bad reviews here because no one wants to read instructions. You plug it in and then complain.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
