I despise Bose for a whole host of reasons, not the least of which is selling people $300 headphones with junk earpads and then trying to beat them with more $60 to replace them. I'm not an avid traveler and *only* use my QC25 when travelling. I daresay I haven't used them more than 60 times and the ear pads literally fell apart. So I decided to replace the pads - and of course I looked for original Bose pads. Wow. For trying to get those pads to massage my temples and sing lullabies to help me fall asleep. These aftermarket models work great and might even look a little fancier than Bose.
