ABSOLUTELY TRASH! suitable for seasonal lighting

Two hours after one of the two new strings was hung on the house wall, the first half of the string just broke! The last half of the string still worked perfectly. Find out. After a bit of research it turned out that you need to unscrew each of the colored LED covers (bulbs) and remove each LED element (which in itself is a tedious headache) and replace it with one of the add-ons that come with the string of lights . This should be done with each light in the unlit part in hopes of finding the faulty LED. Presumably, when a faulty light is detected, the unlit area is illuminated. Well, at my age I don't go through this fucology. For those of you in your 60's this will bring back memories of super cheap strings designed and made in Japan. One would think that in 2020 these manufacturers would already have addressed this issue. I'll be sending this junk back to Revane and digging out my tried and true lightbulbs for next year and beyond. If someone doesn't like spending a lot of time in the cold, I wouldn't waste time and money on this cheap crap.
