Review on πŸ”₯ Triggertorch Soldering Knife by Master Appliance by Mark Green

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good flashlight is not such a good soldering iron.

This is a great little flashlight. I keep it in my tool bag and use it often. It's great for quickly starting a fire, putting out food, soldering the ends of wires, etc. I also often use a heat gun attachment to activate heat shrink tubing on spliced electrical wires. The most surprising thing about this is the burn time - it may not be the advertised 2 hours, but it's over an hour and is quite impressive. I wish I could say that the soldering iron works as well as the hair dryer or heat gun. Flashlight, but unfortunately low power. You can make it work, but not as fast or as hard as you'd like. If you need to solder with it, you can silver the tip with a fine filament of solder first, and then it will slowly melt any other solder it comes in contact with. Certainly no worse than electric.

Pros
  • Soldering and Soldering Accessories
Cons
  • So far so good
