Good product for me, I was satisfied with the price.
At low volume it is quite suitable as a background, but at medium volume it is already not very pleasant to listen to. The resonance on the bottoms is tiring. There is an idea to change the acoustics to a more decent one, the resistance of the native is 6 ohms. In general, it vaguely resembles Chinese boomboxes of the late 90s, only in branded packaging, with a proud Sony logo and modern features. 09/06/2022 A year or two ago, I replaced the acoustics with Bronze. Not bad speakers, but they did not take out the sound. Resigned. And then the other day, I got confused, nevertheless, I quickly removed the frequency response. The signal was sent from a smartphone via bluetooth, because. other sources do not interest me, only radio and BT. Five minutes in Excel and the graph is ready! I loaded a resistor of 8 ohms, the signal was sine, the grid was from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Well, everything is clic. But the result surprised. Volume to "20", timbres to zero. I measured the load swing with a digital oscilloscope. I was surprised by the nonlinearity of the path: up to 40 Hz, everything is cut off in general; after 16 kHz too (blue tooth is to blame? ). At 14 kHz, the sine looks like a ladder, and at 16 kHz there is a signal level deviation. Well, in general, the frequency response is uneven. For interest, I wanted to see the frequency response at the UMZCH input, disembled it and fell into a stupor. UMZCH costs TAS5614A. Too lazy to google - 2x150 W (! ) with digital (! ) input. The evening ceased to be languid. I look where the signal comes from. And here is the DSP: TAS3108. Well, SRC4184 (Sample Rate Converter) was found next door. Well, the CXD9843AR is driving this good stuff. Such a sickly set for a simple "balalaika". Sony knows how to surprise. So it didn’t work to look at the frequency response at the UMZCH input :(, and it doesn’t make much sense, it’s already clear where the legs grow from. It’s clear that they tried to pull the maximum possible out of their micro-columns. That’s just the result - it . Chinese fee for 7 $ with bluetooth 5.0 on board will make this Sonya just go. To be honest, I did not expect such a setup. I thought about changing the device. Maybe put an ordinary car Alpine . And the radio will appear normal, and the sound is good, and bluetooth.
- I like the design, convenient remote control, the dimensions are optimal. Perfectly catches the signal of the remote control - even reflected from the wall. Works great on bluetooth - I constantly listen to it from my phone. I never checked the CD, I didn’t check the flash drive either - I don’t need it, it’s in the kitchen upstairs. I only listen to the radio and my phone.
- Disgusting tuner - disgusting reception. In any car radio of the 90s, such as pioneer or kenwood, the receiver works cleanly on any nail. Here the reception is very weak. Half of the stations with interference and noise. You set up the wiring "antenna" - the other half is noisy. Also, do not understand the antenna connector - just do not connect anything. The second huge drawback is the acoustics for 3+, or even 3 points. The speakers look like 5, but they sound disgusting. Computer svens sound much better. And Sonya has the wildest rises in the frequency response in the range of 100 . 150 Hz, they mumble so that no equalizer can correct it. The b boost function is like a mockery. Where there! B has to be removed in order to remove a strong rumble. And the high ones are also not a fountain, I even want to make +1 . 2. There is also no line out. How did it happen?
