Review on πŸ”Œ Enhance Your Rearview with the Garmin Wireless Backup Camera Extension by Bryan Crayton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Did the job. No lost signal on rear camera.

We bought a Garmin RV760LMT and opted for a backup camera and wireless transmitter for an additional $50. Since our 5th bike is 36 feet long, I didn't want the transmitter to get in the way or fall out of reach on a tight turn, so this extension allowed me to mount the camera transmitter in the front storage area of the RV. , right outside the back door of the truck. It was pretty easy to route along the frame and tough hydraulic lines under the RV and secure them with zip ties as I walked. Where possible I tucked it into the lower aluminum skin that sits under the sides of the RV. Camera reception is uninterrupted, even when making sharp turns into a playground or driveway. Camera clarity is a bit lacking, but for $50 it's perfectly acceptable. I think this cable was a good solution.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • I'll be silent
