All new sounds, bells and whistles compared to older types of rollators. In addition, he has various programs. Click on a musical note and it changes program and plays completely different tones across the board (surface) - there are several to switch between. My 4 year old granddaughter enjoys playing with it after we put it together. She plays with it more than she did with her baby walkers when she was a kid. So sorry I didn't get it then! The only problem I have with it is that it's LOUD! You can turn it off, but it's a bit fiddly as you have to long press on a musical note and try out sounds to hear them fade away. It beeps when it's on the lowest and highest settings, but as long as you don't hear any noise when you change the volume, it doesn't matter. My granddaughter got frustrated with the volume control a few times. And by default it is HIGH when power cycled. I really wish it had a separate volume button. It has "pauses" to slow its movement/rotation speed. Just turn the little knob in the middle of the rear wheels to adjust how easy or hard it is to push. Easy to assemble. And require 3 AA batteries (not included).
