I originally had a product in a white bottle called Wall Wick and knew it was about to run out so I searched Revain and found WP Chomp, a wallpaper remover. I've used a steamer in the past, but since none of my walls were taped before wallpapering, instead the wallpaper was glued directly to the drywall, the steamer worked moderately well, but it was very tedious and took forever as only small pieces came out. for now. Wall Wick and WP Chomp did a great job. I mixed wp chomp with water after running out of wall wick. I used about a quarter cup per gallon of water in a 5 gallon bucket and soaked these cloth-like sheets that were about 18 inches wide and 4 feet long. mortar, and then place these impregnated sheets on the wallpaper on the wall. Before putting them on the wallpaper I used what is known as a tiger paw to make notches in the walls and without these notches it would be a very difficult job as tiny holes are cut in the wallpaper to allow the grout to penetrate. to soften the paste. About every 15 minutes I would come in with my pressure sprayer, mix the solution with water and spray over it and did this for about an hour and a half. I then peeled this fabric off like paper and the wallpaper came off pretty well in large sections. Sometimes the paper backing stayed on the wall and I had to spray a little of the solution and it would come off really easily. In this room, which is a regular sized bedroom of about 12x13, it took me about 20-25 hours to remove all of the wallpaper, and part of that time I waited for it to sit on the walls and spray-painted them Solution about every 15 minutes. about an hour and a half to keep the sheets damp. I could not have done this work without the WP Chomp solution and the sheets of fabric I soaked in it and glued over the wallpaper after the cuts. It works really fantastic, I recommend this product to everyone, especially for removing wallpaper that has been pasted on walls that have never been pasted. (wallpaper direct to drywall). I am definitely looking for these fabric sheets and in the photos you can see the accompanying documents and in one of the photos you can see them on the wall.
