My daughter got her ears pierced and loved it so much that after 6 weeks she switched jobs to try on the cute earrings in this set. Her ears are fully healed with no sign of infection. We cleaned her ears and new earrings before putting her on. After 2 days of wearing she got an ear infection and we had to remove the earrings and have the holes plugged to clear the infection. She was so upset and not only did I lose the value of those earrings, I lost the $100 I spent on her ear piercings (I switched to more expensive piercings for sensitive ears) and (worst of all) my daughter has to go. through the pain of the infection and have to start the piercing process over. Do not buy these if you have sensitive ears.
