Review on Ready Ceramic Bisque Pottery Booklet by Tara Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Thirsty bisque but well detailed cast with great potential

I ventured this link because I was looking for a small realistic skull to paint. They roughly fill the palm of your hand. I don't make pottery or glazes so I can't comment on how these techniques or firing work with this product. Instead, I went the acrylic route. At first I was discouraged by the coarse biscuit glass colored sandpaper. He DRINKS paint and eats my brushes/markers. But I am an absolute fan of this product with some changes. Sealing the surface before painting turns it into a super friendly and workable surface. Printing, varnishing, final printing. What I liked most about these casts is the amount of detail that can be pulled out with washer and ink (once again after the base has been sealed). The detail of the cast is impressive. small gaps everywhere. I'm attaching a picture of some work in progress for demonstration. A NOTICE. I ordered during COVID but had no issues with delays unless it was a larger shipment. Three or so at a time was no problem and timely. I gave this product 5 stars because of 1) potential with a little experimentation and 2) reliable delivery for small orders. This little guy might not work for everyone, it depends on what you need. :) Have fun painting!

Pros

This item is a nice size and is easy to paint. It looks better in person than in the pictures.

I bought this to paint and decorate. Gorgeous, and excellent quality. I will be buying more.
