Review on Ceiling 3 Blade Control Function Bedroom by Shirley Johnson

This is a beautiful and well made fan. I bought two and they are amazing and work well. Very quiet at low to medium speeds. At high speeds (which are very fast) it gets noisy. I will probably never want the fans set as high as I would indoors. There is one downside I just can't stand: you MUST control the fan with the IR remote. The fan will not start by simply turning the switch to the last position. This can be a problem for home automation or if you lose or damage the remote control. I have all the smart switches, but even if you turn them on, the fan doesn't spin until you press the power button and select a speed on the remote. This can probably be solved in some way with a Wi-Fi IR controller, but I'd rather the fan just start spinning when I turn on the wall switch.
