If your problem is that the pump head is no longer holding the valve and your valve is blowing off under high pressure, before you spend the money on a pump head gasket kit, look here. You would have to be very abusive with the pump head to need this kit - you could have seriously bent or broken some Presta valves before you've even worn out the seals and that would tell you to be more careful. So if your pump fails after, say, two years or so, then you need this because the selector switch is actually the reason you keep slamming the valve shut. I used it on my 2014 Joe Blow Max HP and it worked flawlessly despite the fact that about 10 different adapters and spacers were included. All I needed was some tape and a pair of pliers, and everything was packaged nicely.
