These shoes were good but they aren't that special anymore. I first tried the Boost technology in 2016 with the Pureboost ZG and I remember being blown away by its comfort. I was expecting the Ultraboost to be even more comfortable, but I also currently own a pair of Nike Epic React 2s; The comparison isn't even close as Nike is much more comfortable (by comfortable I mean soft/"light" if you will). These Ultraboosts are convenient but don't cost any extra money compared to Reacts. They are a bit stiff compared to what I expected and the reviews I read. I'm a size 15 so I couldn't find a place to try them on in person before buying. I also own a pair of New Balance FuelCell Propels and they are VERY close to Nike in terms of bounce and softness - and are currently available for $68! If Ultraboosts were cheaper I might think differently about it; However, $180 is a bit much for an unremarkable shoe.
