Review on Straightener MiroPure Anti Scald Straightening Temperatures by Kristi Green

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Smoothing brushes are best after sliced bread.

This is the second MiroPure straightening brush I've tried and it's fantastic! I've never been able to use a flat iron properly as I have very thick, long, naturally curly hair. It usually took about two hours to do my hair, so I just never used it. These brushes are a godsend! It only takes me about 45 minutes from start to finish including drying time. Smoothing takes about 30 minutes. I have NEVER been able to straighten my hair so well. I LOVE these straightening brushes! This has an on/off button. Plus separate buttons for increasing and decreasing the temperature. There is a temperature display with a preset temperature to choose from. This brush appears to operate at a lower temperature than advertised, so I would recommend using a temperature setting that is higher than what you are used to. The only major issue I have with this brush is the auto shut off. I've used this brush twice and each time it turned off before I finished without realizing it. Even though I was close to graduation each time. My hair is longer and thicker than most people's, so this may not be an issue for most people. I've also noticed that frizz at the roots is inevitable, but I think I've finally found a way to reduce it. It doesn't bother me much. Another issue I have is that these brushes are not very easy to clean at all. I've found rubbing alcohol and a hair coloring brush to be the best way, but it ends up in the straightening brush and needs drying. Not sure how bad it is for the mechanics yet, or it just won't work one day. I wish there was an easier way to clean it. The power cord fits any 2-prong outlet and does not require a 3-prong outlet. Overall I LOVE these straightening brushes! Whenever I use a flat iron, my hair is always thick and fluffy. These brushes are phenomenal.
